  • The elevation of Telluride is 8,750', and the Welcome Party and Wedding venues are even higher. This means there is 30% less oxygen in the air in Telluride than at sea level For those traveling from sea level, remember to drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and "two to three drinks is more like having four to five drinks for low-altitude people." Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) should help with minor symptoms, but please call the Telluride Medical Center at (970) 728-3848 if symptoms worsen. It is important not to ignore any of these symptoms.
